LootForge Privacy Policy

Effective date: May 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Verdant Software Inc. ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the LootForge mobile application ("LootForge" or "the app"). LootForge is a loot generator for the Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition tabletop role-playing game. It is intended for general audiences (ages 13 and older).

1. Information We Collect Directly

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifying information directly. LootForge does not require an account, does not contain a sign-in, and does not send any data to servers we control. All campaign data, tracker counts, settings, and preferences you create in the app are stored locally on your device using Android's SharedPreferences and never leave the device unless you explicitly share them yourself (for example, by copying loot text to your clipboard).

2. Information Collected by Third-Party Services

LootForge integrates the following third-party services provided by Google. These services may collect information independently in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not control and are not responsible for the data practices of these services.

2a. Google AdMob (advertising)

LootForge displays banner advertisements through Google AdMob until the user purchases the "Remove ads" in-app product (see below). AdMob may collect or process:

The Google Mobile Ads SDK also collects crash logs, performance metrics, and diagnostic data to help Google identify SDK bugs and reliability issues. This data is processed by Google under Google's privacy policy.

This information is used to serve and measure advertisements, including personalized advertising where permitted. For users located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, LootForge presents a Google-provided consent prompt (UMP / "Funding Choices") on first launch, asking whether you consent to personalized advertising. Your choice is remembered by the Google SDK and can be changed at any time from the app. For users in California, you have the rights described in section 6 below.

Google's privacy policy, which governs how AdMob processes your information, is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy. Information specific to how Google uses data from partner apps is available at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

2b. Google Play Billing (in-app purchases)

LootForge offers a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase ("Remove ads") through Google Play Billing. Purchases are processed entirely by Google. We do not see, receive, or store your payment information, billing address, or full Google account details. We receive only an anonymous purchase token confirming that an entitlement has been purchased.

Purchase information is handled by Google in accordance with the Google Play privacy policy: https://play.google.com/intl/en_us/about/play-terms/.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

LootForge does not use analytics, crash reporting SDKs, social media SDKs, or any other tracking SDKs beyond the AdMob and Google Play Billing services described above. LootForge does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone or camera input, precise GPS location, or any data from other apps on your device.

4. Permissions

LootForge requests the standard Internet permission, which is required by the AdMob SDK to fetch advertisements and by Google Play Billing to validate purchases. The app does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, files, calendar, precise location, or other sensitive permissions.

5. Children's Privacy

LootForge is not directed at children under 13 and is not designed to attract them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is not enrolled in the Google Play Families program. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app and you wish to raise a concern, please contact us at the email address below.

6. Your Rights

Because we do not directly collect personal information about you, most data-subject requests should be directed to Google, which controls the data collected by AdMob and Google Play Billing. You can manage your advertising identifier (including resetting it or opting out of personalized advertising) through your device's system settings, typically under Settings → Privacy → Ads. You can revisit AdMob consent choices through the app where they were initially presented.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland (GDPR/UK GDPR), or in California (CCPA/CPRA), you have rights including the right to access, correct, delete, and restrict processing of your personal information. To exercise any of these rights with respect to data processed by Google, please contact Google directly. To exercise these rights with respect to anything held by us (which, as described above, is minimal), contact us at the email below.

We do not "sell" personal information in the traditional sense, and we do not share information for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond what AdMob does in its standard ad-serving capacity. California residents may make further inquiries via the contact email below.

7. Data Retention

All in-app data (campaigns, tracker counts, settings) is retained on your device until you delete it within the app or uninstall LootForge, at which point it is removed by Android. We retain no copy of it ourselves. Data collected by Google through AdMob or Google Play is retained per Google's own data-retention policies.

8. Data Deletion Requests

This section describes how to request deletion of data related to the LootForge app, published by Verdant Software Inc.

How to request deletion. Email us at verdant.software.inc@gmail.com with the subject "LootForge data deletion request." You do not need to provide any identifying information beyond the email itself. We will respond within 30 days. Because LootForge does not require an account and does not store data on our servers, in practice there is rarely any data on our side to delete — but we will confirm this to you in writing on request.

What gets deleted by us:

What gets deleted directly by you, on your device:

What gets deleted by Google (not by us):

What is retained. If you contact us by email and later request deletion, we will delete your correspondence as described above. We do not retain any other personal data about you ourselves. Data held by Google through AdMob or Google Play is retained per Google's policies, which we cannot override.

9. International Transfers

LootForge is distributed through Google Play and available in jurisdictions where Google Play operates. Information collected by Google's services may be processed in the United States or other countries where Google maintains infrastructure. By using the app, you acknowledge that data processed by Google may be transferred to and processed in such countries in accordance with Google's privacy policy.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the app or to applicable law. The updated policy will be posted at the same URL and the "Effective date" above will be updated. Continued use of LootForge after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
